kaelidoscope wheels

i don’t know about you, but I love these geo-style graphics making me think of kaleidoscopic good times! The first 2 lovely prints are by sandra juto, and the 3rd is the dreamy cover of sarah blasko’s latest album...

speaking of good times, the beloved galantron is being passed over this weekend – but luckily it’s staying in the family. and it’s hot new wheels for this little duck – my dream car baby!!

having a tea party

what are you up to this weekend belinda?
oh, not much. just planning an afternoon tea party with some close friends.
how sweet! what's on the menu?
mini brushcettas, cupcakes and rum balls.
what ever will you wear?
i think a black & white check dress, cute cardi and heels would do the trick (see above).
sounds lovely, enjoy xx
thanks, you have a great weekend too xx

benefits of a bicycle

working in the city is a big change for this little country duck. and it poses the question, what does one do on their lunchbreak? I think I need to buy a bike so I can peddle the day away... wouldn’t a brand new ‘Victoria Classic’ by Velorbis be lovely...

sea of hope

here's a shot that sums up the ocean this past week... maybe that's why i've been so productive?

the week that was

this past week has been relaxing, energising and cleansing - just what i needed before starting on my next venture. there's been lazy afternoons spent in front of the fire, dinners cooked and wine guzzled with loved ones, and there has also been a pinch of productivity...

i finished my inspiration board in my work room...

framed my gorgeous catherine campbell artworks...

collected some lovely fabrics from here and there...

and hung our beautiful print from byron above the fireplace,
inspiring plenty of mind surfing from the couch!

unlucky...

they say bad things come in 3... and i must be living proof...

1. i put my phone in the pocket of my favourite hoodie, then i put my favourite hoodie through the wash (yes, the phone was still in the pocket).
2. some jerk in a 4 wheel drive, chatting away on his mobile phone, while doing 100 on the freeway drove straight into the side of my car.
and 3. after a fun surf at winki my board turned on me and speared my face about 1cm away from my eye - and now it's very black.

so at least i know all 3 are out of the way now, and i'm safe to go outside. i'll just stay away from ladders and black cats (sorry sooty)
